FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION

We understand that a move later in life can be difficult. We acknowledge the many emotions involved in parting with items and leaving a home that has held the beautiful memories of a lifetime. As we work with our clients, we are careful to keep this in mind. We offer expert guidance when discussing the move and help make important choices to provide a stress-free moving experience.

Initial Consultation:

Our initial consultation will be a discovery session to review the need for the move. If a meeting is in person (within 50 miles) to the advisor’s work location, we tour the home with the senior and family member(s) and have meaningful discussions.
The purpose is to get to know the senior and family member(s) and to start to discuss what is most important to the senior and family members.
We then review the space and dimensions of the new apartment.
We discuss the necessity of simplicity to help with safety and décor of a smaller living space.
We then plan next steps and what needs to take place before the transition and what other needs will be required after the senior transitions to a facility.

MALLOY HORIZONS provides Senior Move Management Services under the same contract as the Senior Placement & Advisory Services. No additional retainer fee is collected. See additional information regarding Move Management services and fees.
