FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION

We understand that the entire moving experience is stressful, especially when it involves selling the family home that has held beautiful memories. We acknowledge the many emotions involved in parting with items. As we work with our clients, we are careful to keep this in mind. We offer gentle and expert guidance when discussing the move and help make important choices.

Initial Consultation:

Our initial consultation will take place either over the phone through Facetime or similar phone application or in person depending on the location** of the home. We generally meet in person if the home is within 50 miles of the Advisor’s place of work.

- Our initial consultation will be a discovery session to review the need and the timing of the move. If a meeting is in person (within 50 miles) to the advisor’s work location, we tour the home and take notes. If the meeting is by phone, we ask that an application on a cell phone is used such as Facetime so we can view the home with you.
- We discuss who within the family will be taking items and when and how this will happen. Who will be responsible to ensure items are shipped or picked up?
- We then discuss what the plan is for the remainder of the household items and furniture.
- We then plan next steps and what needs to take place such as holding an estate sale.
- We discuss options such as storage, professional packing services, home repairs and cleaning services.
- Our goal is to offer any assistance needed to get the home empty, clean, and ready for the walk-through inspection with the new owners.
** Through our Concierge services, Malloy Horizon can travel to any home within the USA to manage a move.

To contract with MALLOY HORIZONS to provide Real Estate Move Management Services, we collect a $500 retainer fee. See additional information here regarding Move Management services and fees.
